Good value on first purchase

I bought the Embroidery Kit after seeing an offer for a first-box discount, which made it a pretty good deal. The kit itself was well-packaged, and the materials seemed decent quality for the price I paid. I usually compare a few different sites before buying, and this one felt like the best value for getting started with embroidery without spending too much upfront. The digital workshop was helpful, but I did have to rewatch a few sections to get the hang of it. Overall, I think it was worth the purchase for a first-timer on a budget.

Always reliable, great kits

I've ordered from The Crafter's Box a few times now, and they're consistently good. This last time I got the Punch Needle Kit. The quality of the materials was just as high as my previous orders, which I appreciate. Everything was well-organized, and the digital workshop was easy to follow, like with the Macrame kit I did last year. Shipping was quick too, arrived two days earlier than the tracking said. Definitely my go-to for craft supplies.

Loved the Pottery Kit!

Oh my goodness, I just finished the Pottery and Clay Kit and it was so much fun! The instructions in the digital workshop were super clear, even for a total beginner like me. I made some really cute little dishes. The clay felt really nice to work with, and all the tools were exactly what I needed. I will absolutely be shopping here again, maybe for the Candle Making Kit next. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to try a new craft!

Hey, does Crafter's Box do any Black Friday deals for their subscriptions? Been eyeing it for a while but trying to wait for a good sale.

J Jacob Johnson 1 week ago
Oh for sure! They almost always have Black Friday deals, usually like a bigger discount on your first box or sometimes on gift subscriptions. Keep an eye out around then.

I think I got my first box half off during a holiday sale, might have been BF or Cyber Monday. Worth waiting a bit if you're not in a rush.

Anyone know if the tools they send in the kits are actually good quality? Or are they just cheap stuff you use once and throw away?

J Jennifer 3 weeks ago
From my experience with the punch needle kit and a couple others, the tools are actually pretty decent. Not like, pro artist grade, but way better than dollar store stuff. I still use the needles and frames from mine.

Yeah, they're usually good. Like, my weaving loom kit came with a sturdy little loom. Definitely not junk.

I have a referral credit from a friend. Does that automatically apply or do I need to like, type in a code somewhere when I sign up for my first box?

A Adam Robinson 1 week ago
Nah, it should just be linked to your account. When you go to checkout for your first subscription or workshop, it'll show up as a credit balance that gets applied automatically.

Pretty sure referral credits are automatic. Just make sure you're using the same email that got the credit.

Thinking of getting the monthly subscription but wanna make sure I can skip a month if I'm too busy. Is that an option or am I locked in?

B Barbara H. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, you can totally skip. I've done it a few times when I had too much going on. Just gotta log in and change it before the next billing date.

I think so, I'm pretty sure I saw that as an option when I signed up for my first box. Most subscriptions let you pause anyway.

Is there really much of a difference between The Crafter's Box and like, Annie's Kit Clubs? Crafter's Box seems more expensive but maybe the quality is better?

E Emma 3 days ago
I've tried both. Crafter's Box is definitely more 'premium' feeling, with higher quality materials and the workshops are more in-depth. Annie's is fun, but a bit more basic sometimes. Depends on what you're looking for.

Crafter's Box feels more adult and less 'crafty craft' if that makes sense. The projects are usually more involved and the end result looks more polished.
